A VOLUNTEER has been recognised for more than 15 years service to a Ryedale charity.
Martin Knight has been involved with Ryedale Community Transport since its formation in 2004.
Martin has held a number of roles, including volunteer driver, secretary, trustee and chairman of the board.
Current chairman Hugh Morgan said: “To this day Martin still gives his time, and commitment to the charity where he assists with administration, data collection and recording.
“Martin is everything you would want in a volunteer. He is extremely astute when resolving some of the complex issues the charity faces, but conversely happy to take on some of the more mundane roles. On behalf of the charity thank you so much for 15 years of dedicated service, and long may you continue.”
