A STATELY home is preparing for an evening with a musical twist.

Castle Howard, near Malton, has announced a collaboration with Café Mambo Ibiza to bring electronic, summer dance anthems, to the venue on Saturday, August 21, from 5pm to 11pm.

Classics in the Castle has announced headlining acts, such as Grammy Award-winning DJ Roger Sanchez, Judge Jules, from BBC Radio 1, Julie McKnight, Ridney, Robin S and many more.

People can experience an evening of music within the backdrop of the stately home, between 5pm and 11pm.

“We are delighted to be working with our concert promoters to be bringing this exciting new music event to Castle Howard this summer,” said Castle Howard marketing manager, Abbi Ollive.

“It will be a celebratory weekend as the legendary Proms marks its 30th year and we wanted to add

to the weekend music programme by bringing some new events to our spectacular gardens this summer.”

Celebrating the 25th anniversary, Café Mambo Ibiza has become synonymous with electronic dance music and even hosting BBC Radio 1 Ibiza weekends.

Over recent years, Mambo has brought music to Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Dubai, alongside festival appearances at Tomorrowland, We Are FSTVL and their own Ibiza Classics, in Bedford Park.

Organisers are promising more additions to the line-up later this year.

Tickets are £30 each. For more information and to book tickets, visit https://eventlink.to/MamboYork
