A VILLAGE market is getting ready to open for its second season, after a successful first year.
Coxwold Village Market, situated in the foothills of the White Horse, is hosting a produce market on the last Saturday of every month, starting on March 28.
Between March and November, from 10am to 1pm, people can purchase items from Ryedale businesses such as Malton Brewery, Thornton’s Bakehouse & Butchers and Bayview Bees.
“The market is founded on a passion for the community, supporting independent businesses and the provenance of produce,” said Katie Turner, manager of the Coxwold Market.
“It is a hive of talent and inspiration, where anyone can purchase items for the fridge, cupboards or upcoming birthdays.
“Instead of the normal visit to the supermarket, why not come and see the delights we have on offer and support our local businesses.”
The event each month will also feature live entertainment, raffles, unique crafts, cards and soft furnishings.
The Market Café are offering breakfast, brunch or a light lunch.
“How can you not be tempted?” added Katie.
