Mickle Hill Village retirement community, in Pickering, celebrate a top rating
A RETIREMENT community is celebrating a top rating.
Mickle Hill Village, in Pickering, were awarded an “outstanding” rating after a recent inspection.
Care Quality Commission inspectors, who visited in December 2019, described the service as “highly personalised and considerate to their needs”.
Gillian Green, the manager at Mickle Hill Village, said: “We are all delighted that the care and support we give to our residents has been officially noted as outstanding.
“All of us have our residents at the heart of what we do, whether it is providing care for them or organising activities for the village.”
Dan Ryan, the director of operations, said: “The team at Mickle Hill should be rightly proud.”
