THREE people have been treated by paramedics following a fire in a flat.
A male, female and child escaped from the ground floor flat of the three-storey residential building in Scarborough at 5.21pm yesterday.
Crews from Scarborough, Sherburn and Robin Hood's Bay extinguished and ventilated the property.
They used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera, a positive pressure ventilation fan and torches.
