The Yorkshire Building Society, in Malton, are holding a Take Five Over Tea event
STAFF at the Yorkshire Building Society, in Malton, are providing advice on financial fraud prevention.
Open to all members of the public, the branch is hosting the Take Five Over Tea event, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, on Friday, February 28.
“Fraud scams can happen to anybody, but older people are often targeted when it comes to financial fraud,” said Sally Hodgson, from the Yorkshire Building Society.
“Financial fraud happens every 15 seconds across the UK. By hosting our Take Five over Tea session we hope to reach as many people as possible in Malton to raise awareness around this issue.”
The national campaign is led by UK Finance and the Government.
