Spartan obstacle course at Castle Howard, near Malton
ONE of the world's leading obstacle races will be coming to North Yorkshire this autumn.
Spartan, a global fitness organisation, has partnered up with Welcome to Yorkshire to bring the event to Castle Howard on September 5 and 6.
Participants will feature two race options - the 5k, 20-obstacle “Sprint” and the more challenging 10k, 25-obstacle Super.
There will also be a children’s race for ages four to 14.
“We hope to drive awareness across Yorkshire, to the benefits of leading an active and healthy lifestyle,” said Matthew Brooke, from Spartan UK and Ireland.
