The Vicar, the Rev Joe Kinsella said: “The way in which the community has come together over the roof appeal has been wonderful and humbling to see. My prayer is that the church stands as a constant reminder of God’s presence with the people of Sherburn, and that all the different parts of our community continue to work together for the good of the entire village.” With regard to the proposed fundraising activities, it would be lovely if these were still to go ahead as means of getting the community together.
