DR Lucy Hobkinson has sent us this picture of the snowdrops at the 12th century parish church of St Matthew’s in Hutton Buscel.
The church is staging a coffee morning on Saturday to celebrate the snowdrops coming into full bloom in the churchyard - reputedly one of the biggest in Yorkshire.
Churchwarden David Knowelden said the event from 10.30am, would be raising funds towards the church’s current £45,000 repair bill and there will be an opportunity for visitors to try their hand at ringing the newly restored bells.
