Candle left on top of a log burner sparks fire
A CANDLE left on top of a log burner sparked a fire last night.
Firefighters from Scarborough, Filey and Sherburn were called to the property in Scarborough just before 7pm, where a small fire had started.
It had spread to a TV and speaker, which were both destroyed in the incident.
Crews used a thermal imaging camera and small tools during the call-out.
