EMERGENCY services were called to a fire in a derelict building.
Crews from Scarborough received a call at 1.39pm yesterday to attended the premises in Albermarle Crescent.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire Service said: "This was caused by a rubbish fire started by a dropped light. Crews used a hose reel to extinguish."
