A NEW scheme is urging people in Ryedale and Scarborough to sign up and start losing weight.
The North Yorkshire Weight Management of Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust provides a free 24-week group and one to one support in Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Whitby, Filey and Robin Hood’s Bay.
Adult obesity is on the rise nationally and is a major factor in long-term health conditions.
Natalie Belt, trust service manager said: “The past two years success is great and the changes people have made are amazing, but we continue to strive to help more and more.”
