Firefighters called out on hoax house fire in Scarborough
FIREFIGHTERS were called out on a hoax call after reports of a blaze at a residential property.
Crews from Scarborough, Filey, Sherburn and Robin Hood’s Bay were sent to Northway in Scarborough just before 10pm last night.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Upon a thorough investigation internally and externally by the crews and police this was found to be a malicious call."
