THE Workers Education Association (WEA) are starting the decade with new adult learning courses in Scarborough, with subjects from art to yoga available.

Beginning this month, there is an A to Z choice for anyone interesting in learning a new skill.

Yoga for All starts on January 9 or 13, at 10am, taught by Nicolas Bailey.

The 10am session on Mondays takes place at the YMCA Theatre in Scarborough, while the Thursday sessions takes place at St James Arts Centre in Seamer Road, Scarborough.

There are two sessions of Acapella Singing for Women: Harmony and Health with Bridget Cousins, the first of which commences on January 14, at 10.30am, at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, with an Improvers Acapella Singing course starting on the same day at 1pm, this time at the Friends Meeting House in Scarborough.

Artists can go Exploring Portraiture Techniques with Wendy Tate from January 14, at 1pm, at St James Arts Centre in Scarborough.

All courses range from eight to 11 weeks and subject to availability, with booking essential.
