Lorry carrying pigs overturns
HELMSLEY crews attended a large goods vehicle transporting 100 pigs that had flipped over onto its side at 12.58pm on Friday at Rievaulx, near Helmsley.
The driver was not trapped and was transported to hospital by road ambulance with suspected broken ribs.
The crews cut sections of the vehicle to allow the pigs out and all 100 pigs were successfully released.
