A RYEDALE primary school was victorious after only conceding one basket in two basketball tournaments.
The Year 6 team from Kirkbymoorside Primary School took part in the Ryedale cluster tournament at Ryedale School, which saw them undefeated against a selection of other primary schools in the district.
Going forward to the Lady Lumley’s competition on November 11, the Kirkbymoorside team won every match to become the basketball champions for another year.
Anna Aspery, the physical education coordinator at Kirkbymoorside Primary School, said: “All children involved had a brilliant time and we are immensely proud.
“The sports leaders at both events represented their secondary schools fantastically well.”
