TERRINGTON Hall School is holding its annual Christmas Fair next Wednesday with a share of the proceeds going to two Ryedale charities - LIAM and the Rob Stephenson Trust.

There will be more than 30 stalls selling everything from pocket-money items and stocking fillers to gifts for all the family.

In addition, fair-goers can visit Santa’s grotto and enjoy live entertainment from the school’s senior choir and band.

This year, two local authors are lending their support to the fundraising effort, Peter Wright – otherwise known as The Yorkshire Vet’, and children’s author Catherine Jacobs will be at the fair with her new title ‘Santa’s Special Gift’.

Helen Mulryne, the headteacher’s wife and organiser of the school fair, said: ‘We are thrilled to welcome Peter and Catherine to this year’s fair.

“It promises to be a superb occasion to stock up on Christmas gifts whilst raising funds for two local charities.’
