A MALTON church is kick-starting the Christmas cheer this weekend.
St Michael’s Church is hosting its Christmas fair at the Milton Rooms in Malton, on Saturday, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, with all donations going to church fund.
There will be stalls selling homemade cakes, books and Christmas crafts, as well as a tombola, raffle and children’s activities, such as facepainting.
Romey Willis, part of the fundraising committee, said: “St Michael’s Church is a central part to Malton, with the overall ethos of hospitality and making everyone feel welcome.
“We have organised the Christmas fair for over 20 years, and we honestly believe this is the biggest fundraiser yet.”
Refreshments include bacon sandwiches, tea, coffee and biscuits. Everyone is welcome
