A NEW exhibition with one of Yorkshire’s favourite wildlife artists is on display at Nunnington Hall.

Robert E Fuller’s Wildlife on the Yorkshire Wolds is the first exhibition by Robert to be held at the property, and tells the stories of the kestrels, weasels, stoats, badgers and owls that have made his home, Fotherdale Farm, their home.

The exhibition also includes a collection of new original oil and acrylic paintings, alongside some of his favourite limited edition prints.

Robert said: “Nunnington Hall has a long tradition of supporting art and photography and so it is an honour for me to be exhibiting my paintings here.

“My exhibition will focus on Britain’s natural heritage and includes paintings of animals I have watched at my home in Thixendale, which I think sits well with the fine art collections on exhibit inside the hall.”

Laura Kennedy, the hall’s visitor experience manager, said: “Like Fotherdale Farm, Nunnington Hall garden is a haven for wildlife so it’s wonderful for these animals to be beautifully represented as part of the exhibition.”

The exhibition will be on display until Sunday, November 3.
