THE first-ever Terrington stargazing event is set to reveal the mysteries of the night sky to novices.
Staged at Birkdale Farm, the event will take place on Monday, October 21, coinciding with the Orionid meteor shower. Astronomer Richard Darn said: “Fingers crossed that we will see a few shooting stars.”
The event will go ahead in all weather and there will be a talk and chance to handle space rocks four billion years old. Tickets are £6 for adults and £3 for children. Places are limited. To book, visit terringtonstars.eventbrite.co.uk
