A LIBRARY is extending free regular and special events throughout October in celebration of Library Week.
Pickering Library will host regular activities such as Moo Music for children, alongside the launch of More Than Movies on October 23 for friendly screenings.
Ryedale organisations Next Steps, Music Therapy, Sight Support, Adult Learning, St Leonard’s Hospice and The Knit and Natter group are available for drop-in sessions on Thursday, October 10 for Wellbeing Day.
The library’s wellbeing stock will also be on display, with an ongoing communal jigsaw for people to take part in.
For under-fives week, Moo Music will be at the library on Tuesday, October 15 and Earthy Explores on Thursday, October 17.
On Thursday, October 31, children aged five to 11 can take part in mask making session.
