LINOCUT artist Michelle Hughes is creating a set of prints to capture the most iconic landscapes and seascapes to celebrate 50 years of the Cleveland Way.

The linocut prints include Runswick Bay and Filey, inspired by her explorations of the Cleveland Way.

Michelle said: “When I saw the 50th anniversary was coming I though what better way to celebrate and encourage others to get outside walking.”

All of Michelle’s design ideas start by exploring the countryside around her, including her popular designs of Robin Hood’s Bay, Roseberry Topping and Whitby.

Michelle added: “We are blessed with the most stunning unspoilt coastline, punctuated with idyllic fishing villages.

“You cannot beat fish and chips and ice cream on the beach after a coastal walk.”
