MALTON Museum is nearing the end of its events programme this year.
The final lecture for 2019 will be Three Chariots and their Secrets with Paula Ware on the September 25, 7 -9pm. This lecture will discuss the recent exciting discoveries of three very different Iron Age chariots within the region. Cost is £5 per person.
On October 5, Malton Museum will be hosting a fundraising quiz for teams of up to four. There will be a prize for the winning team. The cost is £10 per team. Doors opens at 7pm and the quiz starts at 7.30pm.
The museum will be holding its last town tours on October 12 and November 9. The 90-minute guides tours of Malton will focus on the Market Place and explores bustling past along with introducing some well-known characters from the days gone by.
