FOR this month’s feature, Kirkbymoorside Camera Club is showcasing the talents of some of its recent award-winners.

The club regained its title in the annual three-way competition between Scarborough and Malton camera clubs.

This year also saw the club’s best performance for some time in the Yorkshire Photographic Union’s annual exhibition.

The six members who entered had 17 images accepted; of these seven were also awarded certificates of merit.

The club achieved fifth and eighth places in the printed images and projected images sections, respectively.

This culminated in an overall position of seventh within the 72 clubs.

Julie Cowdy and Bob Ordidge also had images selected for the PAGB inter-federation competition.

The end of year also brings the club’s awards evening.
