THIS week Dalby Forest joined the celebrations marking this 100th birthday of the Forestry Commission.
So for this week’s Way We Were we have featured five photographs of life in the forest from the past 100 years.
They date back to the 1940s and show everything from workers planting acorns to cone picking in the 1980s and people working in the Dalby nursery.
Have you got an old photo you would like to see in the Gazette? Email it, along with details of when and where it was taken, to gazette@gazetteherald.co.uk
