Injured man rescued after slipping on ladder
A MAN had to be rescued by firefighters after slipping on a ladder.
A fire crew from Pickering were called to Thornton-le-Dale just after 3pm on Sunday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire Service said: "Pickering crew attended and assisted with the rescue of a male who had become trapped after slipping on a ladder.
"Crews released male and provided first aid for a minor leg injury. Male was then left in care of ambulance personnel."
