A SUCCESSFUL “pop-up pilates” event for Saint Catherine’s was held at Cedar Barn Farm Shop and Café in Pickering.
The event was organised by Angie Macdougal and instructor Wendy Harding.
Angie has organised various fundraisers following the death of her husband, Captain Ian Macdougal, in the hospice in 2014. He was well known in Ryedale and was the former captain of the Grand Turk replica warship.
Angie said: “It raised an incredible £1,250 and the weather stayed kind for everyone as we were outside. We had so much support from friends honouring all their loved ones who have used the care of St Catherine’s.”
