Electrical fault blamed for oven fire
AN ELECTRICAL fault has been blamed for a fire in a kitchen in Kirkbymoorside yesterday (Thursday).
Firefighters from Malton and Kirkbymoorside were called to the oven fire in the residential property just before 7.30am.
They removed the oven to outside and ventilated the property. The cause is believed to be an electrical fault.
