Jack Simms, who attends 1st Helmsley Beavers, now proudly wears all 22 Activity badges on his blue jumper
A MEMBER of 1st Helmsley Beavers is celebrating after receiving 22 activity badges.
Jack Simms, who will move up to Cubs next month, had to show his skills in everything from tying his shoe laces to building dens and rafts. He has also got his six challenge badges and his Bronze Chief Scout Award.
A spokesman for the group said: "This is an amazing achievement and takes a lot of commitment, time and hard work.
"Beaver Scouts is all about making memories, friends and learning skills for life. We try and offer things they don’t get a chance to do at school or at home."
