A VILLAGE pre-school which has undergone a massive transformed over the past 12 months has bid farewell to 14 of its children who are heading to primary school.
Swinton Pre-School, which is based in the village Reading Rooms, celebrated their children’s success with a graduation ceremony in which all the children wore mortar boards and gowns and collected a certificate of achievement.
A spokesman for the pre-school said: “It was very emotional and we hate to say goodbye to the children as we always feel we are an extended family.”
Over the past 12 months the pre-school has celebrated its 40th anniversary last December and created a new permanent classroom.
