FIREFIGHTERS have helped rescue a man who had fallen behind a 6ft fence.
Crews from Scarborough were called to Edgehill in the town just after 7.30pm yesterday to help the ambulance service get to the man.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "They used a triple extension ladder and hand tools to remove panels from fence. One male taken to hospital for a precautionary check up."
