Two motorcyclists die and driver badly hurt in crash (Image: Stock)
POLICE have named two motorcyclists who died in a crash on Garrowby Hill on Saturday afternoon.
They were 65-year-old Michael Midgley, from Goole, and 64 year-old Geoffrey Toase, from York.
The two men died when the motorcycles they were riding were in collision with a silver VW Polo travelling along the A166 in the direction towards Fridaythorpe at about 3.40pm.
The 32-year-old driver remains in hospital with serious injuries.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or any of the vehicles prior to the collision, is asked to phone 101, quoting log number 428 of August 3, 2019.
