THE Ryedale village of Ampleforth is celebrating Yorkshire Day on August 1 with a special event.
The White Swan Pub is hosting the event, in support of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, which will include a barbecue, live music and raffle.
It will begin at 4.30pm and tickets can be bought in advance from the White Swan priced £12.50 for adults and £5 for children.
