TWO local DJs are set to join forces for a main-stage performance at this weekend's Staxtonbury Festival.

Ryan Swain and Callum Russell, who are from Malton, are currently collaborating and recording an EP together and have released a single called Funhouse on Spotify and iTunes.

The set at, Staxtonbury Festival, near Scarborough, will feature some of their own music as well as clubland classics and hits.

Callum and Ryan are the first dance act to appear on the main stage at the event.

Ryan who has been working in the entertainment business for over 10 years said he was delighted to be working with 16-year-old Callum who has a regular slot at No 46 bar in Malton.

"It's a pleasure to work and make music with Callum, he is a real upcoming talent and I thrive off his positive energy and outlook and enthusiasm for DJing," he added.

Ryan and Callum are on the main-stage on Saturday, July 6 at 7pm.

Ryan is also the specialist guest main-stage presenter at the festival which is expected to attract over 5,000 people.
