KIRKBYMOORSIDE History Group is holding a Heritage Day on July 20, from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

There will be displays and stories of local characters and a dialect corner where people can learn more about Yorkshire Dialect. North Yorkshire County Archives will also be there with their Pop-up Archives. Admission is £2.

In the evening at the chapel there will be a show “Twice Nightly” performed by actor Dominic Goodwin and singer Jessa Liversidge, based on the music hall and variety acts.

Tickets are £5 each and there will be refreshments. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are available from Children in Distress, Moorside Stores and at the door.
