THE delights of an English summer garden will be on display at St Michael’s Church next week.
Members of Malton and District Flower Club will be displaying their arrangements, entitled The Glory of the Garden, as part of Malton in Bloom. Secretary Maggie Tate-Smith said the displays will be available for viewing from the afternoon of Thursday, July 4.
“We hope that there will be many people who will come and enjoy seeing them,” she said.
On Saturday, July 6, the coffee shop in the church will be extending its opening hours from 10am to 4pm.
There will also be two collection plates for donations towards Malton in Bloom and St Michael’s Church. The displays will be removed towards the end of the following week.
