A WOMAN suffered a head wound after being struck with a glass bottle on Saturday.
The victim, a 31-year-old local woman, was walking along Pavilion Terrace in Scarborough at 5pm, near to the Rice and Spice restaurant, when she was hit on the forehead, leaving her with a deep laceration. She was taken to Scarborough Hospital for treatment.
Police are appealing for help to determine who threw the bottle at the woman and are appealing for witnesses.
