PRINCESS Road in Malton is blocked this afternoon after a car-transport lorry got stuck trying to turn the corner from Wentworth Street.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called to Wentworth Street at 1.45pm to reports of a lorry that had struck a wall and become stuck.
"We’re still at the scene helping to recover the vehicle, and would advise motorists to avoid the road in the next hour."
They added that a council highways team and a surveyor are on-site to run checks.
