LIBRARIES are encouraging people to make some noise in their premises to help people with impaired vision engage in reading.

Malton library is supporting Make a Noise in Libraries fortnight, from June 2 to 15, which encourages accessibility and inclusivity for all blind and partially-sighted people.

It is hosting an event on Friday, June 14, at 10am, when Ryedale Sight Support members will take part in a hand bell ringing session in the library by Levisham and Lockton hand bell group.
