A GREAT grandmother has celebrated her 80th birthday, and at the same time, raised £190 for charity.
Nancy Richardson of Pickering enjoyed Sunday lunch at Kirkbymoorside Golf Club, accompanied by her family, but instead of presents, she asked for donations for Saint Catherine’s Hospice in Scarborough.
Nancy has lived for many years in Kirkbymoorside and with late husband Horace was a familiar face around the town, as well as at local old time dances.
