FOR this week’s centrespread, we are highlighting the photographic skills of some of our readers. They have been out and about capturing the sights and sounds of our beautiful surroundings.

Daniel Medelete, Pete Lamb and Jack Fletcher have focused their attentions on the wild side of North Yorkshire with pictures of a dandelion, a butterfly on forget-me-not and a deer and rabbit.

Jenny Stead and Janet Wilkinson have been snapping our landscapes. Jenny took her picture while out walking near Goathland, and Janet captured blue skies above Ruswarp on a spring day. Nick Fletcher headed indoors and took this great picture of the dome inside Castle Howard.

And finally, Sue Cuthbert spotted this farrier at work.

If you would like to see your picture in the paper, email it, along with details of when and where it was taken, to gazette@gazetteherald.co.uk
