THE general manager at a Helmsley hotel has picked up a group award for her work.
Tracy Marper took over the running of the Feathers in Market Place almost two years ago and now her enthusiasm for her role has been recognised by the Coaching Inn Group.
They named her General Manager of the Year at their annual team awards.
“It was a wonderful surprise,” said Tracy, who formerly spent 20 years working in pub management.
David Campbell, head of operations for the group, said: “Tracy has a great rapport with our guests and fellow team members at The Feathers and the hotel has gone from strength to strength under her leadership.”
