A64 closed near Sherburn after crash
THE A64 at Sherburn has been re-opened following its closure earlier due to a car crash.
Emergency services including an ambulance went to the scene of the two-vehicle collision, which was reported at 9.40am.
The road was closed in both directions and drivers were urged to avoid the area.
A police spokesperson said that both drivers were taken to Scarborough district hospital.
The road was reported as re-opened at 11.30am.
