THE annual Great Cake Bake Off in Salton raised £300 for the church and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, as well as encouraging both adults and children to create tasty and exciting cakes.
The judge Janet Fairweather, of Fairweather Catering, had a difficult task in picking the winners, but eventually decided that the best decorated cake was made by Linda Coles, the tastiest was awarded to Pat Bulmer, in the seven to 14 years the best decorated prize went to Elisha Stonehouse, the tastiest to Beth Driver, and the under seven years prize was awarded to Jasmine Bell.
