A NEW town guide to Pickering has been launched.
The Pickering Town Trail is an illustrated booklet which is available free to residents and tourists from the Memorial Hall, the town council offices, the library, the railway station and Beck Isle Museum.
Mal Danks said the booklet had been produced by a working party which comprised of town councillors and members of Pickering Civic Society, which financed the project.
It was undertaken partially in order to compensate for closure of the tourist information centre and charts a walk around the Pickering with photographs and text relating to places of interest along the way.
