THE other day my friend was taken by ambulance to York Hospital.
After a few hours spent in A&E he was despatched to the admission ward. He was then treated for the infection which turned out to be sepsis.
I visited every day and saw first hand the wonderful care he was given by all the staff. He was transferred to ward 35 where he began to improve steadily, all due to our wonderful NHS.
I also witnessed the strain that these lovely people have to work under every working day. It’s a pity that Theresa May and her Tory party are so blind.
Many thanks to all the staff at York Hospital.
