THIS week’s Way We Were photographs were supplied by Thornton-le-Dale History Society.
They show various aspects of the village, including Lady Lumley’s Almshouses, Maltongate, the New Inn, The Buck and the market cross and stocks in the early 1900s.
The society has a small exhibition of aspects of the history of Thornton-le-Dale for Local and Community History Month in Pickering library until May 31.
