THIS month’s Malton Camera Club pictures are mostly memories from the early part of this year.

Malton Camera Club’s Tony Horsfield said: “At the end of January we had a severe frost which melted very quickly in the morning sun but for a short while gave some beautiful effects along the Derwent, in the field near Sheepfoot Hill and also on my kitchen window.

“Since then spring has arrived with wonderful displays of daffodils and crocus in our surrounding villages and towns.

“New life arrived at Flamingo Land Zoo and soon there will be fledglings along the coast such as this black backed gull chick.

“If you like taking photos why not come along to one of our meetings for a taster evening or to get tips from our guest speakers throughout our photographic year.”

Malton Camera Club meets every other Friday at Norton Methodist Church rooms.

Tony said: “Have a look at our website and Facebook page for more information.”
