TWO men are to face trial after pleading not guilty to a charge of burglary at a Malton shop.
At a hearing at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, Kieron Philip Shepherd, 25, of Yorkersgate, Malton, pleaded not guilty to the burglary which took place on October 4, last year.
Another Malton man, Steven Peter Buckley, 51, of Castlegate, pleaded not guilty to the same charge.
Both men were granted unconditional bail, with Buckley granted bail in his absence.
The trial for both was set for Friday, May 24, at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court.
