FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire to a farm vehicle in a village near York yesterday evening (March 24).
Crews from Huntington and York were called to the incident in a field in Dunnington at 6.20pm and when they arrived they found a fork-lift teleporter type vehicle to be "well alight", a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
The crews put out the fire using hose reels and breathing apparatus.
"The fire was likely to have started by an electrical fault," the spokesperson added.
